Pictures of the week/Sept10

Here are some beautiful pictures from the past week.

Its lovely to see flowers decorate the weather beaten doors here in the village of Pontito. Its such a rustic setting with many homes not being updated for decades, thus in my yes, leaving this charming Tuscan village very photogenic:).

Fancy a seat, glass of wine perhaps? Isn't this cosy setting under the geraniums rather enticing? Village of Medicina, Pescia.

How bikers get up and down these Tuscan hill villages, I'll never know. Its a steep call. Celle di Buggianno, Pistoia

I'm a English photographer and mother living in a quaint medieval village in the hills of Tuscany, Italy. Almost every day I find myself lost in the stunning landscape and architecture of these ancient settlements. I try and portray this beauty through my images, in hope of transporting those browsing to a more peaceful and tranquil place.
